2016 Sonata Hybrid problems

We bought the 2016 hybrid model in Nov 2015. Until this year, it has been very practiced...safety features are dainty, neat ride, practiced mileage. This yr, the hybrid system has shut downwards on 2 occasions. First time was a safety switch malfunction, this time they're still researching the problem. It's proficient we bought the extended warranty. The dealership has been nifty and this maybe a one off case but the root cause needs to exist found. That's the simply reason I would hesitate to recommend it; the question of the hybrid reliability. When the hybrid shuts downwards, you have a few minutes to pull over; engines dice, it doesn't switch to gas mode. Second time, I pulled over, close off engine and waited a few minutes. Started it, both gas and hybrid engine kicked in but cheque engine light remained on. Need to be confident in the vehicle.
